Kia has focused on closing the gap between affordability and luxury since its arrival in India. Offering a wide selection of model variants at an appropriate price range, resulting in widespread market acceptance. Kia has built a strong network throughout the nation over time.

Since the beginning of its sales operation, Kia India has led the digitisation trend in the Indian automobile sector, providing its clients an end-to-end digital sales process. The company has succeeded in establishing a Phygital structure in which digital channels support the efforts of its dealer partners. The company wants to increase its presence from 300 to 360 touchpoints, encompassing 90% of the Indian market.

The 300,000th to out from Kia's manufacturing facility in Anantapur was a Seltos. The facility currently employs over 13,000 employees. The Anantapur factory is Kia's most sophisticated manufacturing facility, featuring over 450 robots and Artificial Intelligence, as well as environmentally friendly practices like 100 percent recycling.

Kia has invested over $2 billion dollars in the Indian market over the previous two years, including the vendor built near the plant, demonstrating the company's commitment to the Indian market.

Kookhyun Shim, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Kia India said, "300,000 sales for Kia India is a strong affirmation of customer acceptance and their confidence in the brand and its offerings. Despite testing times, the Indian market has shown a strong rebound in demand. Our extensive sales, after-sales service network, and pre-emptive measures like an end-to-end digitised sales process helped us minimize business risks and perform against all odds. Over the last years, we have carefully identified the unmet needs of Indian customers and catered to them with premium, well-designed products equipped with segment-first features. We are confident that our best-in-class products and ownership experience will continue to exhilarate our customers. The trust and love of our customers keeps the entire Kia India team motivated and I am sure that the next one lakh milestone will be achieved much faster."
