Kawasaki KLE 500 teased
The Kawasaki KLE 500 has been teased by the company on its social media handles and we can expect its debut at the EICMA 2025.

- Gets spoke wheels and disc brakes
- Gets a USD fork up front for suspension duties
- And the exhaust unit gets chrome elements
Kawasaki has released a small teaser that shows an adventure bike riding across mountains and tackling rough terrain, in the middle of the video it mentions the name KLE and the video ends with coming soon. The original Kawasaki KLE debuted in 1991 and was manufactured till 2007 and was later replaced by the Kawasaki Versys 650.

It was powered by a parallel-twin engine and could negotiate both on-road and light off-road riding. The bits we could deduce from the video consists of spoke wheels on both ends that are likely to come shod with tube wheels with tubeless as an option.

The company teased the KLE 500 first at EICMA 2024 with an exposed 21-inch front wheel. So, we can expect a 21-inch wheel up front for the KLE 500. And just like the original KLE, the new one will also be using a parallel twin engine, as two header pipes were visible in the first teaser of the bike.

The video also shows chunky tyres at the rear, and it seems like a centre stand is also on offer. The bike is likely to use the 451CC parallel-twin unit from the Ninja 500 and that unit is good for 45.4 PS and 42.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
We can expect the bike to be showcased at the EICMA 2025 and it is likely to make its way to the Indian shore by next year.
