Mercedes-Benz India recently expanded its electric vehicle (EV) lineup by introducing the EQE SUV, which is priced at Rs 1.39 crore (introductory, ex-showroom). This marks the fourth electric offering from the German luxury automaker in India, following the EQC SUV, EQS saloon, and EQB SUV. The India-specific EQE 500 4Matic gets a 90.6kWh battery pack combined with a dual-motor setup, resulting in an impressive power output of 408PS and a robust 858Nm of torque. As a result, the EQE SUV boasts a notable driving range of 550km, measured according to WLTP standards.

Performance-wise, the EQE SUV can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in just 4.9 seconds, achieving an electronically limited top speed of 210kmph. Charging the vehicle is made convenient with a 170kW DC CCS-2 charger, capable of charging the battery from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 32 minutes. Moreover, the range-topping variant comes with the 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen setup, featuring three distinct displays.
