Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition launched; prices start at Rs 15.17 lakh
Hyundai has launched the new Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition models in India. The prices of the Creta Adventure Edition start at Rs 15.17 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the prices of the Alcazar Adventure Edition start at Rs 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom). While the former is available in two variants, the latter is offered with four variants. As a part of the special edition, the Creta and Alcazar feature a new colour with distinctive design elements, darker cabin with contrasting inserts, and a handful of additional features.
2023 Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions: Design
To begin with, the 2023 Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition models come with a new Ranger Khaki paint job. The black-painted grille, roof rails, skid plates, C-pillar, and shark fin antenna, Hyundai logo and model designation in dark chrome, black ORVM caps, and black-painted alloy wheels further enhance their appeal. Hyundai has also given them red brake callipers, door cladding, and 'Adventure' badges on the front fenders.
The Creta Adventure Edition and Alcazar Adventure Edition are available in four single-tone shades, namely Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and new Ranger Khaki. On the other hand, there are two dual-tone colour schemes available for the Creta Adventure Edition: Atlas White with Abyss Black and Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black, while the Alcazar Adventure Edition gets Titan grey with Abyss Black, Atlas White with Abyss Black and Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black.
2023 Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions: Interior
Both Adventure Edition SUVs feature an all-black interior paired with highlights in Light Sage Green. Hyundai has also bestowed them with Adventure Edition seats, which resonate an illustration of mountains, says the brand. Additionally, the cabin comes with a dashcam with a dual camera, metal pedals, and new mats.
2023 Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions: Powertrain
The Creta Adventure Edition comes powered by a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115PS and 144Nm of torque. It is mated to either a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
Powering Alcazar Adventure Edition is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged GDi petrol engine that makes 160PS and 253Nm of torque. This motor is coupled to a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. There is also a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel unit that generates 116PS and 250Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
