HMSI has recalled 11,500 standard variants of its popular CBR250R motorcycles manufactured between March 2011-September 2012. The company says that there may be a limited ineffectiveness in the front brake, which though doesn't affect overall braking but still is part of a preventive measure. Irrespective of the warranty status of the motorcycle, HMSI will replace the front brake master cylinder assembly for free. Dealers have already started contacting customers and the replacement job will take less than an hour.
