Honda CB150R to be launched in India on March 11
In keeping with its promise of launching new products every quarter, Honda will be bringing the naked version of its CBR150R on the March 11. Christened the CB150R, the bike will essentially be a naked version of the CBR and will feature a more sober design. The frame will remain the same and the bike will carry over the monoshock rear suspension as well. The liquid-cooled, fuel injected 149cc engine will be carried over as well but we expect the engine to be retuned slightly for a stronger midrange. The bike should offer sprightly performance especially in city, given its reduced kerb weight thanks to the lack of a fairing. The ergonomics will be more upright and relaxed as compared to the faired bike which should make for a quick and practical commuter machine that will also be fun to ride around the twisties. Pricing however remains the big question and we hope Honda gets it right after the overpriced CBR150R.
