Hyundai is all-set to launch the 2024 Creta facelift in India tomorrow, on 16 January. The long-awaited mid-life facelift for the SUV will bring significant changes to its design, interior, feature-list, and powertrain. The bookings for the Creta facelift are already open and customers can reserve their car for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Here we shed some light on expected changes and new prices of the upcoming Creta.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Expected prices

With the additional features, such as Level 2 autonomy and a host of other updates, will likely make the Creta facelift costlier over the outgoing Hyundai Creta, which is priced between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the upcoming Creta prices to start from Rs 10.99 lakh and go up to Rs 20.50 lakh. Hyundai may also offer special introductory pricing for a limited period.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Variants and colours

The refreshed Creta is expected to be available in seven variants and seven paint options. The variant are likely to be E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O), while the colours will include Abyss Black, Ranger Khaki, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Atlas White, and a new Robust Emerald Pearl along with Atlas White with black roof dual-tone shade.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Design and interior

The updated Creta will feature a fresh look. It will get a large grille - reminiscent of the Tucson facelift, vertically stacked LED headlights, split daytime driving lights running across its width, new front and rear bumpers, a full-length light bar at the rear adjoining LED taillights, new alloy wheels, and a roof-mounted spoiler.

Inside, the completely overhauled interior will boast a dual-screen display, a new steering wheel, new air-con vents, and revamped centre console. We also believe Hyundai to offer updated telematics, new upholstery, USB Type-C fast-charging ports, wireless charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, rear window sunshades, powered front seats, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, paddle shifters, and more.

There will be 19 Hyundai SmartSense - Level 2 ADAS features. Plus, Hyundai will offer 36 standard features, such as six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ESC to name a few.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Powertrain

The Hyundai Creta facelift will benefit from a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and will continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated motor and 1.5-litre diesel unit. These engines will come mated to a six-speed manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, six-speed iMT, CVT automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
