With every major automaker looking to up the ante when it comes to aftersales and ownership experience, Fiat India has taken yet another step in the same direction. Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd (FGAIPL) has announced that it will undertake free winter check up camps at its exclusive dealerships across India.
This camp will be time specific though, for three days, starting today and ending on November 30. Dealership executives will get in touch with Fiat owners via text messages and e-mails to inform them about the camp. Every Fiat dealership pan-India will run this camp. Fiat claims that it will carry out a 49 point check up for all customers, free top wash, offer a 20 per cent discount on labour and 10 per cent discount on car parts to the customer. Customers will also be offered a discount of 10 per cent on accessories and merchandise.

"Fiat India is rapidly taking strides to reach out to incumbent and prospective customers. The winter check up camps are an effective way to connect with our existing customer base of over 2 lakh and reiterate our commitment to them. Through the check up camps, we will replicate Fiat's global standards in after sales service in India. We have seen a very positive response to the check up camps that were concentrated in select cities a few weeks ago and have therefore decided to launch winter camps keeping the changing weather in mind," said Nagesh Basavanahalli, MD, Fiat Chrysler India Operations.
