- Powered by the 998cc engine that pushes 218 PS at 15,750 rpm
- Power can be hiked to 235 PS with racing exhaust accessory
- Electronics package includes race brake control, power launch, engine brake control, wheelie control, traction control to name a few.
The 2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R is powered by the 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine that is coupled to a six-speed Ducati Racing gearbox that positions neutral below first gear. This eliminates the chance of accidental neutral engagement during aggressive braking and corner entry. The engine pushes a whopping 219 PS at 15,500 rpm and the engine now features new and lighter pistons, and a crankshaft with increased inertia, these changes are derived directly from Ducati's MotoGP development. The power of the engine can be hiked to 235 PS by fitting the racing exhaust and the use of Ducati Corse Performance Oil will further increase the power to a manic 239 PS. The company claims a top speed north of 330 kmph.

The bike features quite a few rider aids derived from the Moto GP innovations, it gets new corner sidepods that generate a 'ground effect' at high lean angles and thus increasing tyre grip for higher cornering speeds. These work in tandem with the larger wings that increase downforce by 25 per cent compared to the outgoing model. The chassis is built around the Front Frame and a Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm that prioritizes the performance of modern slick tyres, improving trajectory-closing, corner-exit traction, and rider feeling.

The electronic rider package includes Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) algorithm that extends to engine braking control, new race brake control, cornering ABS, slide control, traction control, wheelie control, power launch, a bi-directional quickshifter, engine brake control, ride modes (A, B, Sport, Road and Wet), full LED headlamps and all of it managed by a 6.9-inch TFT dash.
Suspension duties are handled by manually adjustable Öhlins USD forks up front with 125 mm of travel and TTX36 shock absorber at the rear, also from Öhlins. And braking duties are done by Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers biting on twin rotors up front and a single disc at the rear. It tips the scales at 186.5 kg (without fuel) and gets a 17-litre aluminium fuel tank capacity.
Other noteworthy mentions include a lithium battery, manually adjustable Öhlins steering damperPirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tyres with 200/60 rear, Sprintfilter P08 high-permeability air filter, cylinder heads with optimised intake ducts, and forged aluminium wheels.
