BMW reopens bookings for the M340i xDrive - price remains unchanged at Rs 62.90 lakh
BMW has reopened bookings for the first-ever M340i xDrive in India and it's the fastest car made in India yet. The M340i xDrive is popular among enthusiasts because of its amazing performance, that too at an attainable price. Thanks to local assembly, BMW priced the M340i xDrive at Rs 62.90 lakh and the price hasn't seen a revision yet. Many enthusiasts are already in the line and BMW is trying to cater to the demand.
Sources suggest that the new batch is limited to few units and may run out of stock sooner than you expect. At the heart of the BWM M340i xDrive is a 3.0-litre straight-6 petrol motor that churns out 387 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox along with paddle shifters. Courtesy of BMW's xDrive, the M340i does 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.4 seconds. Visually, BMW M340i xDrive differentiates itself from the regular 3-Series with the meshed kidney grille, bigger air dams, LED laser lights, rear lip spoiler and M Sport body kit. On the inside, it boasts sports front seats, ambient lighting, 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, Harman Kardon Surround sound, live cockpit professional and more. BMW M340i xDrive doesn't have a direct rival but cars with similar performance include the Audi S5 Sportback and Mercedes-AMG A 35.
