Bentley Continental GT and GTC get 'S' variant added to the lineup
British luxury automobile manufacturer, Bentley has introduced a new 'S' variation to the Bentley Continental GT family - the GT and GT C with black external aesthetics, new wheels and an updated cabin.
The radiator grille, exterior rearview mirrors and exhaust tips have all been painted gloss black on the Bentley Continental GT and GTC S versions. In addition, the headlights and rear lights have tinted glass, and the front fenders have a gloss black 'S' insignia. Apart from that, the GT S twins have 22-inch Y-shaped spoke wheels with a gloss black or Pale Broad matte finish, as well as bright red brake callipers.
The engine's growl is now increased with a sports exhaust as standard and is powered by the same 6.0-litre W12 twin-turbocharged V8 unit with 550PS and 770 Nm. The Bentley Dynamic Ride system is also included, as seen in the Continental GT Speed and Bentayga. The system comprises of dynamic anti-roll bars that decouple the left and right wheels from one another to decrease body roll during heavy cornering while enhancing ride comfort.
The dual-tone inside is also exclusive to the 'S' models, with leather hide applied to the seat bolsters, door pads, dashboard and centre console, and suede-like material added to the steering wheel, gear lever, and backrest for a sportier feel. The Continental GT Speed's meter displays have been carried over.
This new Bentley Continental GT S trim joins the current trims - standard, Azure, Speed and Mulliner - and is available in a coupe and convertible body variants.
