Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dual-Channel ABS version launched at Rs 1.28 lakh

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets dual-channel ABS along with fresh decals and paintjob options, it has been launched for Rs 1.28 lakh.

The new updates includes new decals and two new colour options along with the addition of dual-channel ABS. The new paintjob options include a black base with soft gold accents and another black base with orange and green accents.

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged, it continues to be powered by a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that is mated to a five-speed sequential gearbox. The engine pushes a healthy 20.9 PS at 8,500 rpm and 18.55 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloys that come shod with tubeless tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and five-way adjustable monoshock at the rear. And the braking duties are handled by a 280 mm rotor up front and a 230 mm rotor at the rear, and now it gets dual-channel ABS. And it gets a 15-litre fuel tank.

The bike has a ground clearance of 165 mm, and it tips the scales at 160 kg. Other noteworthy mentions include standard USB charging port, turn-by-turn navigation, fully digital LCD dash, and Bluetooth tethering to name a few.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220 F rivals the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Yamaha MT 15, Yamaha R15 V4 and Hero Karizma XMR to name a few.
