Ather riders can access over 5000 public fast chargers
Ather Energy has announced that Ather riders now have access to over 5000 public fast chargers equipped with the LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) connector.

- The network spans over 395 cities and includes over 3,675 fast chargers
- Over 1400 chargers through partner networks, rest by Ather
- Bengaluru itself hosts over 240 fast chargers
The fast charging network spans over 395 cities and includes over 3,675 fast chargers directly operated by Ather Energy, complemented by more than 1400 chargers through partner networks. These chargers are distributed across major metros, tier-2, tier-3 cities, and intercity routes. Tier-1 cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai each now feature over 100 LECCS chargers, with Bengaluru alone hosting over 240 fast charging stations.

States with the highest number of public charger availability include Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Gujarat. Other cities like Nashik, Malappuram, and Indore have more than 45 public fast chargers, while Kozhikode and Coimbatore each have over 65 fast charging stations. Ather has also extended its charging network internationally, with over 30 fast chargers now operational in Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Ather Grid chargers are visible on Google Maps, so, any customer with a LECCS connector on their scooter can locate, navigate and charge. The LECCS is now standard and now accepted by multiple OEMs such as Hero Vida and Matter to name a few, this works in tandem with charge point operators like Bolt, Kazam, and EVamp also being compatible with the LECCS, interoperability across the industry is now easy.
