Ather 450X gets Infinite Cruise feature
Ather Energy Ltd. has rolled out of Infinite Cruise on the Ather 450X which is being enabled through an OTA (over-the-air) update and will be available as a standard feature. The update is communicated to riders through an on screen notification on their scooter dashboard.

- Infinite Cruise rolled out to over 44,000 customers
- Applicable for electric scooters purchased after January 1, 2025
- The feature functions from speeds as low as 10 kmph to 90 kmph
Infinite Cruise was first introduced on the Ather Apex 450 in August 2025 at the Ather Community Day and has been developed specifically for Indian riding conditions. Unlike the conventional cruise control that kicks you out of cruise when you apply brakes, the Infinite Cruise feature lets the rider decide the pace and never disengages the cruise function. Once enabled, the system adapts to the rider's inputs and recalibrates to the new speed without repetitive activation.
The feature operates between 10 kmph and 90 kmph which cover slow-moving traffic and highway rides alike. The Infinite Cruise feature will be rolled out to over 44,000 Ather 450X customers who purchased their scooters from January 1, 2025 onwards.

The Ather 450X starts at 1.48 lakh(ex-showroom, Bangalore) and the company claims a range of 161 Km on a full charge with a top speed limited to 90 kmph. The brand also claims that a range of 30 km can be achieved in a matter of 10 minutes. Other features include multi mode traction control and magic twist, crawl control, hill control, traction control to name a few.

The Ather 450X locks horns with the likes of the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Hero Vida V1 to name a few.
