2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S launched at Rs 8.13 lakh

The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S has been launched at Rs 8.13 lakh, it is available is a single Metallic Flat Spark Black paintjob and features the Ergo-Fit sizing system.

The bike is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that comes coupled to a six-speed sequential gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch. The engine pushes a meaty 61 PS at 7,500 rpm and 62.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,600 rpm. The engine is nestled in a high-tensile steel perimeter frame which is suspended by a 41 mm telescopic fork up front and an offset linkage type single-shock adjustable for preload at the rear, with a travel of 130 mm and 80 mm, respectively. The bike rides on 18-inch wheel up front and 17-inch unit at the rear.

It has a wheelbase of 1,575 mm, a ground clearance of 130 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 14.0-litres, a standard seat height of 705mm, and it tips the scales at 221 kg. The braking duties are done by a 300 mm single rotor up front and a 250 mm single disc at the rear.

In terms of rider aids and tech, the bike features adjustable clutch and brake levers, adjustable footpegs, analogue style LCD dash, dual-throttle valves, and ABS to name a few. A noteworthy mention is the Ergo-Fit feature that allows the rider to tailor the bike according to their body and riding style. It offers an accommodating setting for riders of all shapes and sizes with 18 possible configurations between Reduced Reach, Mid Reach, and Extended Reach. This can be achieved by tweaking the adjustment of the bike's seat, footpegs and handlebar.
