2024 limited-run KTM RC 8C breaks cover

The 2024 KTM RC 8C, a track-focused motorcycle limited to just 100 units worldwide, has been unveiled. Plus, all the 100 units will be hand-built. The limited-edition RC 8C will be available for online pre-order exclusively through the brand's official website from 20 March at 15:00 CET.

Pre-orders will be available in Europe, USA, Mexico, Canada, and South Africa. Prospective customers can deposit of 1,000 Euros and choose their preferred dealer for delivery. They also have an option to book an exclusive handover session in Portimao, Portugal, which includes a personalised track setup session, private dinner, and an exclusive track day experience with KTM racing royalty.

The 2024 KTM RC 8C features Carbon Kevlar bodywork inspired by the KTM RC 16 and built on a purpose-built 25CrMo4 steel tubular frame. It comes equipped with top-tier WP Prp Components and lightweight elements for optimal performance. Built in collaboration with Kramer Motorcycles, the sports bike features quick-release tank and body panels, lightweight Dymag wheels, and Pirelli race slicks.

Powering the 2024 RC 8C is an 889cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled LC8c engine generating 135PS. This motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Moreover, the dry weight of the motorcycle stands at 142kg.

Further, it features WP Apex Pro suspension at the front and rear, along with MotoGP-derived Brembo braking components, called Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta radial master brake cylinders. The limited-edition RC 8C also boasts an AIM MXS 1.2 RACE dashboard and data logger for comprehensive data acquisition and analysis. Other key highlights of the 2024 RC 8C include its limited production, near 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, 290mm dual front discs and a single 230mm rear disc, racing exhaust from Akrapovic, bespoke racing air box, and dedicated tubular steel frame.
