2024 Hyundai Tucson facelift revealed
Hyundai has unveiled the 2024 Tucson facelift globally. The mid-cycle facelift brings in updates to its exterior along with a redesigned interior, keeping it up-to-the-minute not only with its siblings but also with its rivals.
2024 Hyundai Tucson: Design and Interior
The 2024 Tucson has received subtle changes to its exterior design, especially at the front. With the refreshed styling, the SUV appears sporty and bears an imposing stance. It now gets a redesigned 'Parametric Jewel' grille with an integrated quad LED daytime running light setup, new front bumper, reworked headlights, and a new set of alloy wheels.
On the inside, the interior features the most significant changes in the form of a new dashboard, centre console, air-con vents, and steering wheel. Also, there is a new single-panel comprising a 12.3-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, the gear selector has been moved to the steering column and the centre console features rotary dials and physical switches for temperature control alongside touch capacitive buttons. Hyundai has also given wireless phone charging and USB Type-C ports.
2024 Hyundai Tucson: Features
Altough the details about its features are scarce at the moment, we expect the updated SUV to carry forward similar features as the previous model with a few additions. Hyundai could continue to offer it with dual-zone temperature control, 360deg camera, ambient lighting, powered seats, a panoramic sunroof, a hi-fi sound system, air purifier, powered boot opening, multiple airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, and level 2 autonomous driving capability.
2024 Hyundai Tucson: Powertrain
For international markets, Hyundai may continue to offer the same petrol, diesel, and hybrid powertrains as the old model with an all-wheel drive system. Currently, the carmaker sells the pre-facelift Tucson in India with a 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. That said, Hyundai is expected to launch the 2024 Tucson in the country in the coming months, offering the same engine options.
