2023 Hyundai Venue with ADAS launched; prices start at Rs 10.33 lakh
South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched the 2023 Venue and Venue N Line with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). While the new prices of the ADAS-equipped Venue start at Rs 10.33 lakh (ex-showroom), the sportier Venue N Line prices start from Rs 12.00 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, the brand has introduced a new manual gearbox option for its turbocharged petrol engine.
2023 Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line: Highlights
The sub-four meter offering from Hyundai gets the most significant update since its facelift in the form of Hyundai SmartSense - a suite of advanced driver assistance systems. Part of this package is Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) for cars, pedestrians, and cycles, Lane keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Lane Following Assist (LFA), High Beam Assist (HBA), and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA). With this, the Venue has become the first and only vehicle in its segment to offer ADAS.
2023 Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line: Powertrain
Powering the Venue is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine (83PS/113.8Nm), a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit (120PS/172Nm), and a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbo-diesel motor (116PS/250Nm). The 1.2-litre engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, whereas the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor gets a new six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. The diesel motor is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Venue N Line also carries the 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol unit with a new six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT units.
