2022 TVS iQube launched at Rs 98,000
The 2022 TVS iQube is now available in three variants - the base iQube, the iQube S and iQube ST. Prices start from Rs 98,654 for the base variant, on-road Delhi (including FAME and state subsidy). While the mid-variant iQube S is priced at Rs 1,08,690, on-road Delhi. The price of top-of-the-line 2022 iQube ST is yet to be revealed. Bookings for all three are now open.
TVS says that all three variants of the electric scooter will come with a touchscreen, voice assist, iQube Alexa skillset, music player, fast charging with plug and play, Bluetooth connectivity among others. The base variant of the iQube continues to get the same 5-inch colour TFT display that the scooter came with before, but the S and ST versions now get a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen. The ST variant also gets a larger 32-litre underseat storage space.
The iQube employs 3 lithium-ion battery pack that supply power to the hub-mounted motor. The battery pack has IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. While the previous iQubes' 2.2kWh battery battery pack offered a range of just about 75km, the 2022 base variant and the iQube S come with a bigger 3.4kWh battery that bumps the range to 100km. the top-end St variant gets an even bigger 5.1kWh pack that pushes that range figure up to 140km.
Peak motor output is at 4.4 kw. Top speed of the scooter is rated at 78kmph for the base iQube and iQube S, while iQube ST has a top speed of 82kmph - in Power Mode. The scooter will also have multiple charging options to choose from a 650W charger and a 950W charger while the ST also gets the 1.5kW fast charger option. TVS has started production of all three variants of the new 2022 iQube.
