Yamaha brings in new styling updates to the FZ-16 range
India Yamaha Motor has launched new variants of the FZ-16 range in India with a new orange colour scheme and graphics. The new variants also boast of a wider and longer pillion seat with a redesigned grab handle. The bikes now get a wider rear fender to prevent muck from splashing onto the pillion rider during rainy season. A new chain guard is also a standard feature on these variants.
Yamaha claims to have repositioned the full liquid crystal display meter console so that it doesn't hinder the rider's field of vision. However, there is no increment in power or torque figures â€" the need of the hour for the FZ-16 range. Last year, Yamaha had quietly slipped in a kick lever to the FZ series after feedbacks from customers. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the FZ, FZ-S and Fazer are Rs 69,250, Rs 71,280 and Rs 76,380 respectively.
