Yamaha Bolt cruiser: Specs and image gallery

Yamaha unveiled the 2020 Bolt for the international market and it will hit the roads by June. The bike houses a 942cc air-cooled, V-twin, fuel-injected engine mated to a five-speed gearbox that makes a power of 53.7PS and generates a torque of 80Nm. The engine uses a belt drive and the bike rides on a 16-inch wheel at the rear and a 19-inch wheel upfront. The bike is priced 9,79,000 yen which is around Rs 6.94 lakh for the base variant. The Bolt R costs 10,25,200 yen which is approximately Rs 7.27 lakh. In India, it would take on the Harley Davidson Iron 883.  Here's a detailed image gallery of the Yamaha Bolt cruiser.

The bike gets a 13-litre tank and the circular headlamp and tail lamp setup adds to the retro look.

The bike is 2291mm long, 945mm wide, 1120mm tall and has a seat height of 690mm along with a wheelbase of 1570mm.

All the necessary information is displayed on a single pod LCD instrument cluster.

The bike has a ground clearance of 129mm and it weighs 246kg.

Yamaha claims a fuel efficiency of 21.68kmpl.

The dual-channel ABS works on the 298mm discs on both sides.

Damping duties are performed by a 41mm conventional telescopic forks upfront and a dual shock absorber for the rear section.

The R variant gets a different colour scheme and dual piggyback shocks at the rear for suspension duties.

The R variant rides on machine-cut alloy wheels, the standard Bolt rides on spoke wheels.
