Unveiled 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible
This is the new Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, a chopped roof version of the GT Speed. Bentley claims that the open top with its high-spec 625PS engine will hit 0-100kmph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed nudging 325kmph. If you thought that it will guzzle more fuel, then Bentley is quick to tell you that it is 15 per cent more fuel efficient than what the W12 engine delivers when under the hood of other cars. All this inspite of a 220kg gain over the coupe.
So what else is different other than the 'wind in your hair experience'? Exclusive 21-inch alloys, dark-tint grilles, rifled tail pipes, black crackle inlet manifold and inside, a Mulliner-spec cabin. The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible will debut at the Detroit Auto Show which starts from January 14.
