Triumph Trident 660 price hiked by Rs 50,000
From Feb 1, 2022, you will have to shell out Rs 50,000 more than before if you fancy having a new Triumph Trident 660 in your garage. The introductory price of the Trident 660, which launched last year was Rs 6.95 lakh and now the bike is on the menu for a revised price of Rs 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Even with this price increase, the Triumph Trident 660 is still the most affordable triple cylinder naked street-bike in the country. It's an easy-to-ride, entertaining motorcycle with nimble handling characteristics. Mechanically the Triumph remains the same as before, and continues to be powered by a 660cc, inline-triple that makes a max 81PS and 64Nm. The ride-by-wire tech enables just two riding modes (Road and Rain) and switchable traction control, and it also gets a fully-digital instrument cluster that's Bluetooth friendly.
Following Triumph India's price hike of the Trident 660, the bike is priced significantly higher than the Kawasaki Z650, which costs Rs 6.24 lakh and its retro themed twin Z650RS which costs 6.72 lakh, but priced below the Honda CB650R which costs Rs 8.68 lakh.
