Tata Harrier sees price hike of Rs 31,000 - prices start at Rs 13 lakh
The prices of the Tata Harrier SUV have been hiked by Rs 31,000 across all variants. The Tata Harrier now ranges between Rs 13-16.55 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) . The price has been kept on the low, however, the hike (new prices) can be seen on the company's official website. The new prices of the Tata Harrier across all variants are as follows.
Tata Harrier XE - Rs 13 lakh
Tata Harrier XM - Rs 14.06 lakh
Tata Harrier XT - Rs 15.26 lakh
Tata Harrier XZ - Rs 16.55 lakh
All prices are ex-showroom Delhi
This is the product's first price hike and another one is expected when Tata will launch the BSVI compliant Harrier. Also, the SUV is expected to be offered with an automatic transmission option. The company is expected to equip the Harrier with an AMT (automated manual transmission) to keep the cost in check. The automatic version could warrant a price hike as well. Currently, the SUV gets only a six-speed manual gearbox mated to a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 140PS and 350Nm torque.
The Tata Harrier rivals the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and the Renault Captur.
