Skoda Kushaq dominates the three fold rise in Skoda January sales
Skoda Auto India has announced a 200 percent increase in sales in January, with 3,009 units sold compared to 1,004 units sold in January 2021.
The luxury mid-size car, Skoda Slavia, will grace the Indian roads in March 2022, based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, which was created specifically for India. This comes less than a year after the debut of the Skoda Kushaq, India's first product on the MQB-A0-IN platform, which has been critical to the company's sales growth.
In India, Skoda Auto India kicked off the year 2022 with the launch of the Kodiaq facelift SUV, which starts at 34.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). The success follows Skoda's triple-digit sales increase last year, as well as the rapid development of its dealer networks and consumer touchpoints.
The Skoda Kodiaq SUV is available in three trim levels, all of which are powered by the new TSI engines, which is both powerful and economical. The Kodiaq has had a tremendous reaction from Indian clients, and the car was completely sold out within the first day of its launch.
