Over 19,000 Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio-N recalled
Mahindra has issued a recall for 12,566 XUV700 and 6,618 Scorpio N vehicles. A total of 19,184 vehicles have been recalled.
The manual versions of the SUVs with this defect were produced between July 1 and November 11, 2022, and the problem is with the rubber bellow within the bell housing.
The operational dimensional clearance of the rubber bellow inside the bell housing may have been impacted on particular days by a sorting process fault at the supplier's facility. The dealership will get in touch with each client personally, and following an inspection, any required corrections will be made without charging the consumer.
The owners of the impacted vehicles will be contacted separately by Mahindra dealerships, and the autos will undergo a quick examination. If the problem is discovered, the manufacturer will repair the car at no cost.
In contrast to the XUV700, which debuted in October 2022, the Mahindra Scorpio-N was introduced in India in June of this year.
