Mahindra Mojo BSVI revealed, announcement on pricing and specifications shortly

Mahindra 2 Wheelers will be launching their first BSVI offering, the Mahindra Mojo BSVI by the end of this month. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer had already started teasing the motorcycle on its social platforms, last week. And now Mahindra has revealed the Mojo BSVI, which does not get any change in terms of design, however, there are there new colour options called, Garnet Black, Ruby Red and Red Agate, to choose from. Additionally, it can be seen from the images that the BSVI update will be introduced on the UT300 and not the XT300.

Bits like upside down forks, dual exhausts and Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres won't be seen on the Mahindra Mojo BSVI. Instead, the motorcycle will come equipped with telescopic forks, single exhaust and MRF tyres. We believe this is a conscious effort by the company to compensate for the increase in price due to BSVI compliance. Further, as seen in the last update, the Mojo will be offered with dual-channel ABS. In terms of mechanicals, the 295cc motor liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine used to produce 26PS at 7,500rpm and generate a torque of 28Nm in its BSIV guise. While we believe Mahindra will make use of fuel-injection instead of carburettor that was offered in the previous iteration of the UT300, it needs to be seen if the power and torque numbers see any change.

In terms of pricing, the Mahindra Mojo UT300 was priced close to Rs 1.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The BSVI update could increase the prices by Rs 15,000. Rivalling the Mahindra Mojo BSVI will be the recently launched Bajaj Dominar 250, priced at Rs 1.60 lakh and also the Suzuki Gixxer 250, along with the Jawa's 42 and Jawa.
