Lamborghini has new corporate logo

Automobili Lamborghini has refreshed its emblem, more than two decades after its last modification. The restyling is motivated by a new strategy that entails adapting the brand's visual expression to better reflect the "brave," "unexpected," and "authentic" values of its mission, which is "Driving Humans Beyond," a concept that translates into the intention to always go beyond the limits, standards, and conventions.

The Lamborghini font has been somewhat widened; black and white remain the core colours, with yellow and gold serving as accent colours. The alterations are modest, yet they stand out next to the previous design. The bull will appear independently of the shield for the first time, emphasizing the upgrade across the company's digital channels.

The change affects all parts of the automaker's corporate brand, and an official Automobili Lamborghini font is being designed. This is meant to give the space a more contemporary vibe that evokes themes of sustainability and innovation. Since all Lambos will be hybridized when Huracan manufacturing ends, a process that began with the Revuelto, now is the best time to make these improvements.

However, the shift affects all manifestations of the brand. In fact, an official Automobili Lamborghini font has been produced that replicates the cars' recognizable lines and angularity while remaining consistent with the style and design of the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based firm, and it will be used for the company's communications. The makeover also features a new set of icons created in conjunction with Lamborghini Centro Stile, which for the first time will be utilized and shared universally across all digital touchpoints.

The Lamborghini bull and shield was originally designed with a red backdrop and a black-and-white bull. The bull signifies the Taurus zodiac sign, under which the company's founder, Ferruccio, was born. This logo was modified in 1972 to gold and black.
