Kia Motors to have 192 dealers in India, app to streamline aftersales experience

Kia Motors India recently announced that it will have 206 dealerships in the country. This will be supported by four Parts Dispatch Centres in Chennai (South), Navi Mumbai (West), Delhi-NCR (North) and Kolkata (East). There is also a Kia Link App which will help streamline the aftersales experience for Kia customers.

Through the Kia Link App, customers will be notified of their service schedule. They can also make an appointment at their preferred dealer. Making the entire process paperless, workshops are equipped with RFID scanners which would identify the car through RFID technology. This would be followed by allocation of a service advisor who then would diagnose the car digitally at the e- Vehicle Health Check-up bay and share the report with the customer via their dedicated Kia Link Dealer App. Eliminating delays, real-time updates and progress on the repair work will be provided to buyers through the app. Further, customers will know of all the work that is being done on their vehicle, get a work completion notification, and will be apprised of all the work done through a visual guide. They can even pay via an online payment gateway built into the app.
