The Ducati Scrambler is the entry point to the owners club of the premium Italian brand and it now has a smaller sibling in the Scrambler Sixty2. Where its bigger sibling runs an 803cc twin cylinder motor the Sixty2 gets a considerably smaller 399cc V-twin (air cooled like its bigger brother) that makes a humble 41PS, significantly less than the 75PS on the bigger Scrambler. Design wise, the Sixty is almost identical to its bigger sibling and even shares the same frame but runs cheaper, 41mm forks that are conventionally positioned. Ducati is positioning the Sixty as a premium offering and it is just 1000 dollars cheaper than its bigger sibling in the USA. Such an expensive proposition would never work in a price sensitive market like ours which is why we wont see the Scrambler Sixty2 go on sale here anytime soon.

The Sixty2 looks very similar to its bigger brother

While the steel fuel tank is the same it doesn't have the decorative aluminium covers from the bigger Scrambler

Air cooled 399cc V-twin makes a humble 41PS

Keeping costs down is a simple 41mm conventionally positioned front fork

Familiar dual sport tyres should offer decent off-road performance and good grip on tarmac as well

The single 320mm disc brake comes with ABS as standard

Like it's bigger brother, the Sixty2 should prove to be good fun, both on and off-road

High set handlebar is ideal for standing on the pegs and riding off-road
