Chevrolet has recently announced that it is planning to launch five vehicles in the next 24 months. The vehicles will be in the large volume categories. The first offering from the Chevy stable will most likely be the new Beat, set to debut early next year. The company will also make a crossover-themed car based on the Beat, called the Beat Activ and a compact sedan christened as the Essentia. The same cars were on display at this year's Auto Expo as well. Here is a look at the upcoming Chevrolet Beat Activ in images.

Those funky headlamps may not be able to make it to production but look cool nonetheless
