Eight years after the original was unveiled and wowed the world, the Evoque enters its second generation. At first glance, it may seem like not much has changed stylistically, but that's mainly because you're probably used to the face already - being extremely similar to the one that's on the Velar. Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern designed the original Evoque, debuted his reductive design philosophy on the Velar and the team has carried it forward to the compact SUV as well. So, to that end there's sleek wrap-around headlights and tail lights at either end, with lines clearly flowing into one another. Even the sides have been cleaned up, with hidden door handles and clever demarcated lower sills on the doors. You can also read all about the new SUV and what's under the skin here.
