The new BMW X is is based on an all-new platform and now offers the choice of front-wheel drive (a first for BMW in India) or all-wheel drive. The new car features bold and grown up styling, much more interior space and a richer feature set. The BMW X1 we have here is the top xDrive 20d M Sport variant that gets all-wheel drive, an aggressive body kit and some exclusive features. All variants of the new X1 - there are four - get LED headlamps and a revised version of the 2.0-litre turbodiesel that has been reworked to produce 190PS and 400Nm. Smart wraparound LED lamps at the rear follow a theme similar to the headlamps

Great looking M badged 18-inch wheels make it to the top model. The mid level xDrive trims also use 18-inchers while the base expedition trim runs 17-inch wheels
