Hyundai Grandeur unveiled as the brands flagship sedan
Hyundai has unveiled the Grandeur, it's premium sedan, including its external and interior designs. In certain foreign markets, it is also known as Azera. With a completely new design from its forerunner, the large sedan is approaching its seventh generation.
Hyundai has not yet released the Grandeur sedan's mechanical details, which replaces the Sonata in the company's lineup internationally. The old model had both petrol and diesel engine choices, and the new Grandeur is anticipated to offer a variety of powertrain options, including a plug-in hybrid.
The 2023 Grandeur sports a striking style that includes a fascia that is similar to the futuristic-appearing Staria minivan in front. While the real headlights are situated lower in a separate cluster on the bumper to flank a large grille, an LED light bar spans the whole width of the front of the vehicle.
An identical full-width light bar to the one up front can be found towards the back, continuing the clean style. The rearview camera is located in the middle of the trunk lid, above the large "Grandeur" branding.
The inside also differs significantly from the vehicle from the previous generation. The dashboard is equipped with two screens, and there is also a third screen located lower on the centre console, from which the driver and passenger may adjust the climate. While the back passengers have their own controls situated between the seats, it appears that the steering wheel's design is based on the original Grandeur.
