Hyundai Exter wins the Indian Car of the Year award at ICOTY 2024

In the 19th edition of the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY), the Hyundai Exter was announced as the winner of the Indian Car of the Year 2024. It beat its runner-ups, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Honda Elevate and Toyota Innova Hycross, to emerge as the winner. At the same time, the BMW 7 Series bagged the Premium Car of the Year award, while the Hyundai Ioniq 5 was declared the Green Car of the Year by ICOTY. A jury of professional automotive journalists from widely recognized magazines and media houses throughout India, including OVERDRIVE as a founding member, made their pick and chose the winners of each of these categories.

It was a great year for car enthusiasts as we had quite a few phenomenal cars launched this year that included the likes of the Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, Hyundai Exter, Hyundai Verna, Mahindra XUV400, Maruti Suzuki Jimny, MG Comet and Toyota Innova Hycross. Nevertheless, the Hyundai Exter came out victorious beating the rest of the contenders and claiming the Indian Car of the Year award for 2024.
