Raring To Go!

Life in the twenty first century is a fast one and our idea of a holiday means a quick trip to a hill station or a resort, which is a shame seeing as our country is a treasure trove of fauna and flora, just waiting to be discovered. Which is why MTV has introduced Drive with MTV to get people out and explore the beauty of India in its purest form.

In association with Tata Nano, MTV presents Drive with MTV, India's first ever social show which promises to take the participants on the craziest road trip of their lives. After a meticulous search, we have selected adventure junkies from all across India who love travelling and exploring the true landscapes our country has to offer. On the basis of the entries received, four teams have been selected and will start their journey from May 28 when they will be sent to the different corners of the country to begin their expedition in a Tata Nano. And as these people travel on their route, you can watch the journey through their eyes as they will be uploading videos of their adventures and exploits with the world daily on the MTV India website.

The teams will have to work on a limited budget everyday and plan for the route that unfolds before them, just like a real road trip. They will shoot and upload their entire journey which will be showcased online for everyone to see and follow. The team with the most social online interactions at the end of the journey wins the ultimate prize of Drive with MTV. The call for entries started two weeks back, and so far the show has received a keen response from the travel enthusiasts of the country. From doctor turned entrepreneur Amit Dang (who also doubles up as a guitarist) to Netra Parekh with more than 15,000 connections on Twitter, you can browse through the entries by logging onto the Drive with MTV page on the MTV India website (www.mtvindia.com/drive).

The journey begins from Monday when the four teams set out so make sure to catch all the action online, coz this is definitely going to be one of hell of a road trip!
