Ducati Urban Motard launched at Rs 11.94 lakh

The latest addition to the 2022 Ducati line-up sees a version of Ducati's 800cc Scrambler that's designed to take on the urban environment – and it's called the Scrambler Urban Motard and it costs Rs 11.43 lakh. So what's different with this bike? In a nutshell – a new livery, a high beak mud-guard up front, a low set handlebar, a different set of tyres and side panels and the double-barrel exhaust can that look to be lifted from the Nightshift's parts bin.

The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is powered by the same 803cc L-Twin engine that is shares with the other bikes in the Scrambler 800 range. The engine makes 72PS of max power and 66Nm of max torque. The bike rides on 17-inch spoked wheels at both ends and come clothed in sticky road-biased Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.

The new paint livery takes its cues from the Centro Stile Ducati, incorporating the Star White Silk and Ducati GP '19 Red colour in this sort of retro design. The Urban Motard gets Kayaba suspension at both ends, gets cornering ABS (just like the others in the Ducatis' 800cc Scrambler line-up) and gets Ducati's latest multimedia system with bluetooth and smartphone connectivity. The bike weighs in at just 180kg.
