CNBC-TV18 OVERDRIVE Awards 2016: Import and Performance Motorcycle of the Year
As much as we like to focus on the motorcycles and cars assembled and manufactured in India, there is just no denying that the imported vehicle numbers have been growing every year. This is why we have the categories of Import Bike of the Year and Performance Bike of the Year.

Performance Bike of the Year

The judging for the import and performance categories is a little different from our standard procedures. Not all of these motorcycles are called to the track because we would like to focus on the motorcycles that are assembled or manufactured in India. It's our way of helping out the local industry. Instead, the winners of these categories are judged through an internal process that takes place based on experience gleaned through our road tests. The criteria of course are the same - role fitness, value for money demand and of course, driver involvement.
