Bounce Infinity expected to launch soon and will take on the Ola electric scooter

A Banglore based smart mobility solution firm, Bounce, is preparing to unveil the Bounce Infinity, its first electric scooter. This innovative 'Made in India' scooter is expected to be outfitted with cutting-edge technology and intelligent features. Pre-orders for the Bounce Infinity are slated to open soon, with deliveries beginning in January 2022.

The replaceable batteries on the Bounce Infinity electric scooter will allow customers to charge them according to their needs. Customers will also be able to purchase the scooter without the battery, according to the manufacturer. Because the battery may cover roughly 40-50 percent of the cost of an electric scooter, the customer's acquisition price will be reduced. Customers, on the other hand, gain access to the company's swapping network.

Bounce plans to construct its own battery-swapping network to support its retail and ride-sharing businesses. Customers who choose the battery switching option will be able to utilise it as a service in which they may rent a fully charged battery whenever they need it. This, according to the business, will cut the scooter's operating costs by 40 percent compared to a traditional petrol-powered scooter.

In 2021, Bounce purchased a 100 percent ownership in 22Motors for around 7 million US dollars. Bounce purchased 22Motors' manufacturing plant and intellectual property in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, as part of the acquisition. The cutting-edge factory has a production capacity of 180,000 scooters each year. The corporation intends to build a new facility in southern India, based on the potential of the Indian market.

Bounce has put aside 100 million US dollars to invest in the electric vehicle industry over the next year.
