BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition launched, prices start from Rs 71.90 lakh
The Silver Shadow Edition of the BMW X4 has been introduced in India. The SUV is available with a petrol or diesel engine, with prices starting at Rs. 71.90 lakh and Rs. 73.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The exterior of the special edition car is distinguished by high-gloss chrome design accents. The vehicle will be locally manufactured at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, and reservations for the limited edition have begun.
Chrome has been used for the trademark grille and the twin exhaust pipes. Anvil-shaped inlays and vertically arranged reflectors have also been added to the front and rear bumpers. This Silver Shadow edition comes in three exterior colours: Carbon Black, Phytonic Blue and Alpine White, in contrast to the all-black motif.
The new BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition comes with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 255PS and 350 Nm of torque, as well as a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 268PS and 620 Nm. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and come standard with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive technology.
The SUV has sports seats, reclining rear seats, an M leather steering wheel and an M headliner on the interior. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are included in the vehicle. Reversing assistance, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone automated temperature control, ambient lighting and a welcome light carpet are all standard on the BMW X4.
