BMW X1 sDrive18i M Sport launched in India, priced at Rs 48.90 lakh
BMW has added a new variant to the X1 lineup, the X1 sDrive18i M Sport, which costs Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While it shares the powertrain and the majority of the features with the xLine variant, it does receive some upgrades.

The new model has an M Sport body makeover that features M-specific front and rear bumpers, gloss black slats in the kidney grilles, and M-specific 18-inch alloy wheels. The window surrounds and roof rails are likewise blacked out. M Sport models are also available in M Portimao Blue and Storm Bay Grey.
The BMW X1 sDrive18i M Sport is manufactured in the brand's Chennai plant, and reservations for the car are already available, with deliveries slated to begin in June 2023. The 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine produces 134PS and 230Nm of torque and is mated with a 7-speed automatic transmission. BMW claims the petrol X1 can do the 0-100kph run in 9.2 seconds.
In comparison to the sDrive18i X Line, it has powered front-row seats, rear seat adjustability, a Harman-Kardon-sourced 12-speaker sound system, and high-gloss black inside trim with pearl chrome finishing. Both models share a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen running the iDrive 8 operating system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging.
The BMW X1 SUV rivals the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q3, and Volvo XC40.
