Bajaj Pulsar NS125 could be launched in India before Diwali
Bajaj Pulsar NS125, which is already on sale in the international market could be launched in India around the festive season this year. If the rumours are to be believed, then the NS125 could be the smallest capacity motorcycle in the Pulsar line-up. Also undercutting the Bajaj Pulsar LS135 which is now discontinued.
The NS125 carries the same styling as the Bajaj Pulsar LS135. The headlamp assembly is a halogen unit, however, a DRL can be expected as a part of the headlamp element. The tank has panels that extend ahead contouring the telescopic forks. The exhaust is upswept and has a matte black finish. The seats are split and so are the grab handles for the pillion.
Powering the NS125 could be a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. For braking, the bike gets disc brake in the front and drum brakes in the rear, however, the bike will have CBE (combined braking system) when launched in India.
The prices are expected to be around Rs 65,000 ex-showroom and the bike will rival the Honda CB Shine SP and the Hero Glamour i3S.
