2021 Skoda Octavia: Prices and variants explained
Skoda Octavia is the most popular sedan from the Czech carmaker and it's making a comeback to India in its all-new generation. 2021 Skoda Octavia is offered with two variants - Style and the range-topping Lauren and Klement. The new Octavia is loaded to its gills but some luxury features like an electric sunroof and ventilated seats have been given a miss.
2021 Skoda Octavia measures 4,689 mm in length, 1,829 mm in width and 1,469 mm in height and offers a wheelbase of 2,680 mm. The ground clearance of the new Octavia stands at 137 mm and 106 mm for unladen and laden respectively. Powering the new Octavia is a sole 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 190PS and 320 Nm of torque. The TSI engine comes mated to a sole 7-speed wet-type DSG gearbox. The suspension duties are handled by MacPherson struts at the front and multilink at the rear.

The Style variant of the new Octavia packs in a lot of features like a 12-way adjustable driver's seat, keyless entry for all four doors, Suedia Beige leather upholstery, 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 8-speaker audio system, two-zone climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, paddle shifters, automatic rain-sensing wipers, two C-type front charging ports, LED headlights, cooled glove box with illumination, 17-inch Rotare alloy wheels, ambient lighting, ABS, ESC, EBD, MKB (Multi Collision Brake), HHC, HBA, e-parking brake, ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), EDS (Electronic Differential Lock), front and rear parking sensors and six airbags.
2021 Skoda Octavia Laurin and Klement - Rs 28.99 lakh
The Laurin and Klement variant(which we've driven here) brings in more tech and features like adaptive LED headlights, side airbags for rear occupants, iBuzz fatigue alert, electric boot release and close, 12-way adjustable passenger's seat with lumbar support and memory function, 11-speaker Canton sound system, roll-up sunblinds for rear doors and windscreen, wireless charger, hands-free parking, 2 C-type rear charging ports, 1 C-type port for dashcam in the IRVM, 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, chrome elements on the lower bumper, Octavia front door sills, aluminium pedals, tyre pressure monitoring system and cargo elements.
