2019 Tata Hexa launched in India at Rs 12.99 lakh

Tata Motors have updated their premium people mover, the Hexa and have priced at Rs 12.99 lakh. This makes it Rs 1 lakh more premium than the original launch price and also Rs 30,000 more premium than the Harrier. As seen from the images, the changes done to the 2019 Tata Hexa aren't much except for dual tone roof options and diamond cut alloy wheels on the automatic, 4x4 and others variants. The manual transmission models of the 2019 Hexa will be offered with charcoal grey alloy wheels Additionally, the 2019 edition of the Hexa now comes equipped with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity across variants developed by Harman. This update comes after two years of the launch of the MPV in the Indian market.

The 150PS/320Nm motor is available only with a 5-speed manual in the base variant. The higher tuned motor (156PS/400Nm) is available with both the 6-speed auto and manual transmissions. Tata offers a 4x4 on the top manual, and this also comes with different drive modes, similar to what we have seen in Land Rover models. The Hexa comes with a 3 years/1 lakh kms warranty along with an additional 3 year/1.5 lakh km warranty on the engine. Oil change has to be done every 20,000km or 12 months, whichever is earlier. The scheduled service interval is 6 months/10,000km.

In other news, Tata Motors has teased the upcoming SUV codenamed the H7X in a recent video posted on their official handle. Tata's H7X seven-seater SUV is all set to be unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show which will be held between March 5 and March 17. The upcoming SUV is based on the same Modular platform as the Tata Harrier and could be Tata's flagship product.
