2017 KTM 390 Duke and 125 Duke recalled in Europe to fix faulty LED headlamp

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke and 125 Duke have been recalled in Europe to fix an issue with the LED headlamps. According to an official statement by KTM Europe, the company discovered during internal endurance testing that there were some cases of sporadic reboots of the LED headlamps. This could pose a serious safety concern, especially while riding at night. Dealers in Europe have asked customers to bring their bikes to the service station for a software upgrade that should fix the problem.

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke  is powered by a 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder motor that develops 43.5PS and 37Nm. It has a kerb weight of 163kg which translates to a power to weight ratio of 266.87PS/tonne. Which explains the Duke's explosive performance.
