TVS iQube Electric Scooter Launched - Range, Specifications and features
TVS Motor Company has entered the EV game with the iQube electric scooter to take on the Ather 450X and the Bajaj Chetak. The company will be making 1,000 units and expects to sell around 100 units in the next three to four days. Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motor Company, confirms that the iQube was built ground up in India, including software, programming and also electric motor. TVS iQube Electric is equipped with a 4.4kW electric motor to deliver both high power and efficiency with no transmission loss. The scooter has a max speed of 78kmph and traverses 75km in full charge. The iQube Electric comes with an impressive acceleration of 0 to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds.
