2017 Volkswagen Passat launched in India
The eighth generation Passat has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Highline trim is the top end variant and it will set you back by Rs 32.99 lakh. The new Passat sits on Volkswagen's MQB platform, that's also shared with its cousin, the Skoda Superb. The new Passat, in India, gets a 2-litre TDI engine that makes 177PS and 350Nm of torque.
