Yamaha FZ Rave launched at Rs 1.17 lakh
The Yamaha FZ Rave has been launched in India at Rs 1.17 lakh and it is powered by a 149cc engine.

The bike is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The engine pushes 12.4 PS at 7,250 rpm and 13.3 Nm of peak torque 5,500 rpm. The bike is 1,990 mm long, 780 mm wide, 1080 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 1,330 mm. The bike has a saddle height of 790 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 10-litres and a minimum ground clearance of 165 mm. The bike tips the scales at 136 kg.
The bike gets a butch look, courtesy of that goes to the muscular fuel tank and an aggressive design. The tank has been designed in such a way that it seems like the tank is flanked by air vents on either side. The headlamp unit has also been done in a sporty manner which adds to the look of the bike. It gets a single piece seat, a rear tyre hugger mud guard and a small engine cowl as well.

The engine sits in diamond type frame which is suspended by a telescopic fork up front and a swingarm type suspension at the rear. It rides on 17-inch wheels that come shod with tubeless tyres and disc brakes with ABS help with the braking duties.
The Yamaha FZ Rave locks horns with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer 155 and Honda Hornet 2.0 to name a few. The bike has been offered in two colour options - Matte Titan and Metallic Black.
