VinFast VF6 launched at Rs 16.49 lakh
The VinFast VF6 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 16.49 lakh and bookings can be done for a token amount of Rs 21,000. The top model will set you back by Rs 18.29 lakh.

The VF6 houses a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed ARAI range of 468 km. Available in three trims, the Earth trim has a power output of 177 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque while the higher spec Wind and Wind Infinity variant puts out 201 PS and 310 Nm, making them impressive figures for the segment they aim at. The VF6 will lock horns with the likes of the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6 to name a few. The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 8.9 seconds. The VF6 Earth claims a range of 468 km on a single charge, at the same time, the Wind guise claims a range of 463 km on a full charge. When it comes to charging, the electric SUV can support a 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC chargers along with DC fast chargers. The company claims a 10-70 per cent charge with a DC fast charger in just 25 minutes.
The feature list for the VF6 includes a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, all LED lighting, heads-up display, connected car tech, over-the-air updates, 8-speaker sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, cabin air-filter, panoramic glass roof, 9-way power adjustable driver seat, a 360 degree camera, rain sensing wipers, electronic parking brake, highway assist (level-2), lane centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency lane keep assist to name a few.
