Vinfast VF6 and VF7 price reveal on September 6

The Vietnamese EV car maker is all set to announce the prices of the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs on September 6. Both the electric SUVs will be locally assembled at the company's manufacturing unit at Thootkudi in Tamil Nadu.

The VF6 houses a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of 400 km

The VF7 is powered by a 75.3 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 450 km

Both electric SUVs will be offered in two variants, a single motor and a dual motor one named 'Eco' and 'Plus'.

The VF6 houses a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of 400 km. Available in two variants 'Eco' and 'Plus', the power outputs differ slightly, while the battery pack remains the same. The Eco variant delivers a power output of 174 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque while the Plus variant puts out 201 PS and 310 Nm, making them impressive figures for the segment they aim at. The VF6 will lock horns with the likes of the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6 to name a few.

The VF 7 is powered by a 70.8 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 450 km, this too, comes in two variants: a single motor and a dual motor one named 'Eco' and 'Plus'. The Eco variant produces 201 PS and 310 Nm of peak torque, while the Plus variant delivers 348 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. Upon launch the VF7 will lock horns with the likes of the Tata Harrier.ev, Mahindra XE 9e and the BYD Atto 3 to name a few.

The feature list for both VF6 and VF7 includes a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, all LED lighting, heads-up display, connected car tech, over-the-air updates, highway assist (level-2), lane centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency lane keep assist to name a few.

The Vinfast VF6 is likely to come with a sticker price that ranges form Rs 18-24 lakh, ex-showroom, and the the VF7 is expected to have a price tag that ranges from Rs 24-30 lakh, ex-showroom.
